Big Scale | Housing | Interior Design | Product DesignThe cultural and service center of 73 was launched by the private sector and its purpose is to promote culture and provide services to foreign and domestic tourists.
This center has various spaces. The goal is to interact and produce a discourse-oriented space based on the lived space that can create the capacity to produce a call.73 looks at the society as a whole, and ties natural elements with social connections and gathers the audience in a framework that coexists with nature.
73 is a program-oriented project. It hosts various events under different pretexts, and every year it will show endless stories, in the form of endless narratives, about the culture of hospitality and celebrations of Iranians. In 73, architecture appears as a media; The viewer is faced with new events in background of water, trees and greenery. The components are in arrangement and connection with each other and try to raise the audience's level of understanding and knowledge about the phenomena.
Symbol in architecture is like a metaphor in language: a kind of reference to a common ground that can strengthen architecture. Creativity is placed next to symbols, new experiences are formed and the basis for expressing differences is created. The constant movement between symbol and creativity creates new stories. In 73, the interaction between man and building creates experience. This project tried to bring the body (form, shape, facade), activity and space (events in the city) together. They should be harmonious in the macro and micro scale and put the elements (components and pillars) together with a suitable combination.
The external wall of the building as a visual element defines an inviting space by creating a connection between inside and outside. Along the wall, the entrance gate sits back to give the audience a certain dignity and prestige upon entering. After entering, the transparent layers of building surfaces invite the audience to search for different messages. In front of the entrance, there is a cultural connection corridor that provides different content and meaning for the audience to spend time and have fun.
The glass pavilion, in the south of the site, is a place to see the sky and the earth at the same time. The reflection of the building in the surrounding pond and the stillness of the water make the audience step into a timeless space and search for the meaning of eternity. The sycamore trees in front of the main building, on each level, depicted a layer of life. Space is a reservoir of water and in the form of ponds, fountains and streams, it is compatible with humans. In the entrance hall, a set of voids is defined, which once again invites the audience to a new experience of the space.
The formatting of the facade guides the eye and creates beautiful images in the audience's mind. The atmosphere of hosting has made man and nature able to live peacefully together.
Immortality has a high place in this center. Life alone is not a mirror of eternity. The impression that "being" leaves on the world remains forever. 73 defines eternity not only with what is today, but also with what was once. Life flows in the heart of death. Memories are valuable for 73. The green pattern reflected on the wall from the shadow of a dried tree is in line with this idea and wants to create and remind the audience of the meaning of immortality
